Camping near Port Isaac: a peaceful base on the north coast

in our own words

The South West Coast Path running along green clifftops above the sea

Port Isaac is one of Cornwall's most famous fishing villages, with whitewashed cottages tumbling down to a tiny harbour. If you're looking for camping near Port Isaac, Lower Pennycrocker Farm is a peaceful family-run campsite near Boscastle, about 15 miles up the coast. It's a quiet base for exploring Port Isaac and the rest of the North Cornwall coast.

Why stay near Port Isaac?

Visiting Port Isaac

The harbour

Port Isaac's harbour is the heart of the village, with fishing boats, lobster pots and cafés. At low tide, you can walk on the harbour beach.

The village streets

The narrow streets and alleys are lovely to explore on foot. Wear comfortable shoes, as it's steep.

Parking

Park in the car park at the top of the village and walk down. Don't drive into the village centre. Some roads are very narrow and not suitable for large vehicles.
