in our own words

Lower Pennycrocker Farm Camping and Caravan Site welcomes touring caravans on pitch during the season. We are near Boscastle, Cornwall, and run by Colin and Karyn.

This page does not list a confirmed winter or long-term storage service. If you need storage rather than a holiday pitch, please contact us and ask. We will tell you honestly what we can and cannot do.

Touring caravans on site (confirmed)

During 1 April – 31 October you can stay with a touring caravan or motorhome:

Full tariff: pitches and prices.

Storage — not confirmed on this site

We have not published storage prices, compound details, security arrangements or winter opening. Please do not assume we offer year-round storage.

To enquire:

  1. Call 07967 605392 (9am–7pm, in season) or email colin.heard@yahoo.com
  2. Say whether you need a holiday pitch or storage

Touring caravans welcome during the season

Many caravanners ask us about storage, and we want to be clear. We welcome touring caravans in Cornwall on our holiday pitches from 1 April to 31 October, with electric hook-up at £7 a night and parking beside your pitch. We do not publish a storage service, storage prices or winter opening, so please don't book a storage arrangement based on a listing elsewhere. If you need storage, call or email and ask — we will tell you honestly what is possible.

Why ask first

Storage needs vary a lot: some people want a few nights between holidays, others want year-round space. Security, insurance and access are important, and every arrangement is different. Rather than over-promise, we prefer to talk to you directly.

Bringing your caravan for a holiday

If you are planning a touring holiday, here is what you need to know:

  • Grass pitches with room for your caravan, awning and car.
  • Electric hook-up at £7 per night.
  • Free awnings.
  • Free hot showers, toilets, a disabled toilet and a washing-up room.
  • Adults £10 and children 5+ £5 per night; dogs £2 each (maximum two).
  • Groups limited to eight people.

See pitches and prices and touring caravans and motorhomes for more.

Arriving with a caravan

The last stretch to the farm is on narrow lanes with passing places. Drive slowly, arrive between 9am and 7pm when reception is open, and use What3Words happen.violinist.inserted for the gate. Our getting here page has full directions.

Exploring from your pitch

Leave the caravan set up and explore Boscastle, Tintagel and the coast path without towing. Most of our guests find one base is enough for a week or more.

How to enquire

Call 07967 605392 (9am–7pm in season) or email colin.heard@yahoo.com. Tell us:

  • Whether you want a holiday pitch or storage
  • Your dates
  • The length and type of your caravan
  • Whether you need electric while staying

Please ask before you plan around storage

We are often asked about caravan storage in North Cornwall. We can't confirm storage availability on this website, so please call Colin & Karyn on 07967 605392 or email colin.heard@yahoo.com before making plans. We'll tell you honestly what we can and can't offer.

If you're touring rather than storing

If you simply want a pitch for your caravan or motorhome, our touring caravans and motorhomes page covers electric hook-up (£7 a night), arrival tips and pitch sizes. Prices for adults and children are on our pitches and prices page, and the site is open from 1 April to 31 October.

Things to check with any storage provider

  • Whether the site is secure and what access hours apply.
  • What insurance your policy requires for stored caravans.
  • Whether you can collect and drop off at short notice.
  • How the ground copes with wet weather in winter.

Planning a stay instead

Many guests who ask about storage end up booking a longer stay on a pitch instead. Check dates on our live availability calendar.
